Actuator pneumatic control
For pneumatic operation, aim fluid control uses a pneumatic actuator that operates the valve, ball valve or butterfly valve by means of compressed air. Double-acting or single-acting (normally closed or normally opened) is possible. In the latter case, the pneumatic actuator is provided with a spring package so that the pneumatic actuator always returns to the same position when the pressure drops. As with the electric actuator, the pneumatic actuator is equipped with ISO standardized 4 or 8-side mechanical connection for mounting on a ball valve or butterfly valve.
Pneumatic control
The pneumatic actuator can handle many circuits, switches quickly between open and closed, is robust and more resistant to the rougher environmental factors than the electrical variant. This actuator can be expanded with a position indicator, a positioner, in both a double-acting and single-acting failsafe version (NC / NO).
Electro pneumatic control
In the case of electro-pneumatic operation, the said pneumatic actuator is provided with a solenoid valve. This Namur version solenoid valve can be mounted directly on the Namur drilling pattern on the pneumatic actuator. The solenoid valve can be selected in the electric / spring version, so that an on / off electrical signal is sufficient. If an electric / electric solenoid valve is selected, 2 separate electrical signals can be used to independently open or close.
Electrically operated actuator
In the case of electrical operation, aim fluid control can be chosen from a simple electric actuator that turns the ball valve or butterfly valve 0 ° -90 °. This is fitted as standard with torque limit, manual emergency operation and end position signaling. Optionally, the electric actuator can be supplied with 0 ° -180 °, 0 ° -90 ° -180 ° positioning, potentiometer, back-up battery pack and 0-10V or 4-20MA positioning system, with or without feedback. The mechanical connection of the electric actuator is provided with an ISO standardized 4 or 8 side and can therefore be mounted on the valve, ball valve or butterfly valve without any problems.
Compared to the pneumatic versions, the electric drives offer more control over the switching process. They are compact and integrated systems in which the various options, such as a battery pack or a positioner, can be installed in the standard housing before and / or afterwards.
Stand signage
Optional position detection is possible on the aforementioned pneumatic or electro-pneumatic operation. An optical indication but also feedback with the aid of micro switches and proximity switches, whether or not explosion-proof, are possible.
aim fluid control is happy to advise you on the aforementioned construction options. The assembly of the various components can also be carried out in-house.
