Function Short-circuit valve
The function of the short-circuit valve is as follows, as long as a pneumatic control signal is present on the control port, the control signals are conducted through the short-circuit valve to the actuator. If the control signal fails on the control port, the outgoing ports are short-circuited with each other and the supply is cut off. In this state, the actuator can be operated manually. The drive can be operated easily and easily by hand in an emergency.

With the PN 411 701 this function can be performed in combination with a Namur valve or with an external control valve via the G1 / 4 "connection ports.
Typical application
The automated process valves are equipped with a gearbox that allows manual operation in the event of an emergency. In the event of failure, compressed air can get stuck in the drive. The Hafner Namur air recirculation UB701 valve ensures that only the outgoing air can go from the venting side of the actuator to the spring chamber of the actuator. As a result, any aggressive or contaminated ambient air can never enter the actuator. This valve is usually used when the actuator is externally controlled by a control valve. The valve has been specially developed for single-acting spring-closing or opening actuators. Standard connection 1/4 "BSP. Standard aluminum version. Stainless steel version is available on request.

Easy assembly
Screw the banjo bolt (supplied) into one of the cylinder ports. Connect the other cylinder connection by means of hose or tube with the angled screw-in coupling.

This valve is often used for on-site maintenance work, when the air supply to the actuator must be disconnected from the control system. The valve can be used on both a double and single acting actuator. Connection according to Namur standard.
A special plate can be supplied with a G1 / 4 "connection so that the pressure-holding valve can be used without a Namur valve.
