The patented AIMSPUMP is a new type of air compressor / vacuum pump that significantly reduces noise and vibrations in many applications. Which has now become the norm for conventional motor-driven pumps and compressors.
The benefits and the very attractive cost of the AIMSPUMP manufactured in the United Kingdom has proven itself in many applications. It is designed and structured with simplicity so that it is not necessary to assemble complex parts such as rods and bearings, which provide the crucial benefits of minimal noise, low vibration and oil-free maintenance.
To renew the piston and the spring system for maintenance, you just have to loosen four screws and remove the cylinder head. Install a new repair kit and the cylinder head can be replaced. Integral seals offer excellent wear resistance and a long service life.
The piston and spring are the only moving parts so that energy loss is minimized. Because the AIMSPUMP is designed without transmission cranks or rotating components, the efficiency of the AIMSPUMP is greatly improved.

Incoming filtered cool air is sucked in through an opening and flows over the electro-mechanical coils before it enters the cylinder. The construction of the pump is made in such a way that very little noise is produced.
The noise level has been kept very low due to the construction of few moving parts and a simple transmission system. Vibration is limited to a minimum since there are no rotating parts and bearings. All other sound sources are tempered by the pump's constuction.
The piston and the springs are the only moving parts. Due to the simple transmission system the energy loss is minimal which contributes to the efficiency of the AIMSPUMP.
Regardless of the load, frequent small pulses of air are synchronized with the alternating input power frequency. This corresponds to 3000 cycles / min (50Hz) and 3600 cycles / min (60Hz). With this high frequency, the individual drain volume is very low. The advantage of this can be found in an even air supply.
If the output pressure exceeds the nominal value, the stroke of the piston is automatically reduced to prevent overpressure. The shorter stroke of the piston reduces the power consumption and eliminates malfunctions caused by overloading. High pressure units start with a relatively low current, support fast cycles and frequent switching on and off. Even in conditions with high back pressure.
The bold and oil-free design in combination with the few moving parts contribute to a consistent and durable performance over long periods. Service is easy through the use of parts with a long service life. Designed to withstand shocks and impacts without affecting performance.
With few moving parts and the closed, sealed housing, there is virtually no vibration. Remaining vibrations are absorbed by the specially constructed rubber foot.
Design & Technology
The design and construction of the pumps makes it possible to work without the need for complex parts such as crankshaft, piston rod, bearings, oil and grease.
The operation of the pump consists of a piston supported by a spring system, which is driven by means of an electric coil on a linear motor which runs in synchronism with the alternating supply voltage and frequency.
The properties of the very quiet and low vibration are achieved by the variable stroke volume of the piston system and the engine. Partly due to these features, the service life is extended and maintenance is simple and inexpensive.
The power supply energizes an electromagnet that operates the piston against the spring pressure of the spring system. which compresses the air. This action draws the air through the inlet valve in the master cylinder. The moment the energy supply to the electromagnet is stopped, the spring system pushes the piston back. This air is then compressed and expelled with excess pressure through the outlet valve.
Maintenance is straightforward and very easy. By loosening the four screws of the cylinder head and then removing the cylinder head, it is easy to change the spring system and the piston for a new composition.
The aimspump uses very smoothly finished bearings and seals that have excellent wear resistance which guarantees a long service life and operation.
